Ken Caryl Pet Spa has cared for Colorado pets and their families since 2005. What began as a neighborhood grooming and pet-care business has grown into a trusted local destination for professional grooming, bathing, nutrition, wellness products, and practical guidance for pet parents.
In April 2026, we began a new chapter when longtime Littleton residents Brian and Abbie Turek became the owners of Ken Caryl Pet Spa. As Colorado natives, Colorado State University graduates, parents, and lifelong dog lovers, we were drawn to the business because of its strong community roots, experienced team, and commitment to compassionate care.
We are proud to preserve what families have valued for more than two decades while thoughtfully improving the experience for today’s dogs and their people.

We believe grooming is more than a haircut. Regular grooming and bathing can support a dog’s comfort, skin, coat, mobility, hygiene, and overall quality of life. It also gives our team an opportunity to notice changes that pet parents may want to discuss with their veterinarian.
That belief guides our new direction: Beyond Grooming. Whole Dog Health.
Along with full-service grooming and bathing, we offer Thera-Clean® microbubble bathing, skin and coat treatments, self-serve washing, nail care, allergy and intolerance testing support, and thoughtfully selected nutrition, wellness, and pet-care products. Our goal is to help families care for their dogs both during their visit and at home.

The heart of Ken Caryl Pet Spa is our team. Several members have cared for local pets here for many years, bringing extensive grooming experience, patience, and genuine relationships with the families we serve. Our team includes professionals with backgrounds in grooming, animal welfare, veterinary support, management, and pet care.
Every dog is different. Age, coat condition, health history, temperament, mobility, and previous grooming experiences can all affect what a dog needs during an appointment. We take time to listen, learn, and provide care based on the individual dog, not simply the service written on the schedule.
We especially value creating positive experiences for puppies, senior dogs, nervous dogs, and pets who may need a little more patience.
At-Home Care
Care That Continues at Home
Whole-dog care does not end when a grooming appointment is complete. The food dogs eat, the products used on their skin and coat, and the care they receive between visits can all make a meaningful difference.
Our retail selection includes premium foods, treats, supplements, grooming tools, skin and coat products, toys, chews, and everyday pet-care essentials. Rather than filling our shelves with everything available, we aim to offer products we believe can genuinely support the pets and families who visit us.
Our team is always happy to answer questions, share at-home care tips, and help pet parents explore options that may fit their dog’s individual needs. When something falls outside our expertise, we believe in referring families to a veterinarian or another trusted pet-care professional.

For more than 22 years, Ken Caryl Pet Spa has cared for local pets with patience, compassion, and respect. When we became the new owners, we saw an opportunity to preserve that trusted foundation while thoughtfully expanding the services, products, and support available to Colorado families.
We believe every dog deserves care that considers the experience from their point of view. Our team takes time to understand each dog’s temperament, comfort, mobility, coat, skin, and individual needs. Nervous, senior, and first-time guests are never treated like an inconvenience.
Our direction goes beyond a beautiful haircut. Through consistent grooming, bathing, skin and coat care, premium nutrition, and carefully selected wellness products, we want to help every dog look, feel, and live their best.
